Ecology: Lignicolous.
Thallus: Crustose, not subdivided (non-sorediate parts endoxylic) parts. Thallus Outline: Soon disappearing. Upper Surface: Light green; sorediate.
Margin: Indistinct. Epithecium: Apical cells hyaline. Hymenium: 40 µm high. Hypothecium: White or brownish yellow (brownish granules).
Ascospores: Ellipsoid (sometimes slightly bent), (6.5)-9.2-(11) µm long, (3.5)-3.7-(4) µm wide; septa absent or rarely present; 0-(1)-transversally septate; wall not constricted where the septum meets the spore wall.
Conidia: Bacilliform; (3.5)-(5) µm long.
Secondary Metabolites: Divaricatic acid.
