Thallus: Crustose, granular. Thallus Outline: Soon disappearing. Upper Surface: Grey (whitish grey), light green, or white; not sorediate.
Margin: Not flexuose, indistinct. Exciple: White. Epithecium: Apical cells hyaline. Hymenium: (45)-(65) µm high. Hypothecium: Brown (faintly pinkish) or white.
Ascospores: Ellipsoid, (16.5)-20.9-24.9-(29.5) µm long, (4)-4.8-5.8-(6.5) µm wide; septa absent or present; 3-5-transversally septate; wall not constricted where the septum meets the spore wall.
